We are God Breathed.

The scriptures are God breathed, living and active.  This is true, and there are many out there who would have a hard time marrying the fact that the word of God, that is God breathed, was written by people flawed imperfect people.  
Today I was reading Jeremiah 32, and I was having a hard time with the statement the writer makes about how God brings punishment for the fathers’ sins into the laps of their children after them.  This is a hard thing to understand about God, that he would punish the grandchildren or great grand children for the fathers sins.  Then I was thinking is their a way that the writer of Jeremiah in that moment of writing was being mellow dramatic?  How often do the writers of scripture seem to say things that seem very emotional very reactive to maybe their current situation or circumstance in that moment, and if maybe the writer is being emotional in what he is writing, how can the word of God still be God breathed, how can it make true statements about who God …
